Department of Zeitgeist: Civic Fantasies

Site: Gough Street, Birmingham, UK

Purpose: Civic

Project type: Group

Module: ARC5042 Design Methods

My second year of university began with a group project to design a civic building based on an identified issue or agenda. My partner and I created the concept for a building for an imaginary group called the Ministry of Global Labour Injustice, providing a space for them to research and document cases of forced labour, lead global efforts towards ending forced labour, and support local victims in Birmingham.
