Ferne McGregor Architecture

Following the previous design project, our next site was a derelict viaduct in Digbeth, for which a large, modular megastructure had been proposed by our tutors. I was tasked with identifying a local business from Digbeth and designing a modular space for them to fit into this structure, once more challenging my capabilities to design for a specific client and within a restricted volume. Furthermore, I was now investigating my own design on a technical level rather than just a basic design level, which allowed me to strengthen my skills as a designer.
