My first design project followed a series of group site analysis tasks for our site in Digbeth, Birmingham. A derelict area of land was assigned to us, and we were tasked with designing a house for two chosen clients on a narrow plot of land. Additionally, the building was designed as a “home for the future, set in 2030”, and so allowed for more ambitious designs and therefore more creative freedom when designing this project.
